Percepted, a strategic design and development company focused on user experiences, interfaces, and brand design, served major clients including Anheuser Busch InBev, Pratt Institute, and Empire BlueCross BlueShield.
The company's story began with David Enock (1936-2020), who studied advertising and design at New York City College of Technology before joining Brownjohn, Chermayeff & Geismar in 1958. By 1961, he had co-founded Eisenman & Enock with colleague Stanley Eisenman.
In the 1990s, David left E&E to establish Enock, Inc. and later Enock Interactive with his sons Chris and Matt. Their work with The Nasdaq Stock Market included designing Nasdaq's corporate identity, its logo, the Nasdaq MarketSite display in Times Square, and Nasdaq.com — one of the first websites to feature real-time market data. They also created the on-screen logo for Murphy Brown's production company, the FreshDirect logo, and New Balance shoe packaging.
In 2006, Chris and Matt rebranded as Percepted, continuing this work for nearly two decades until the company's closure in early 2025.
